Fifty Shades of Hunter-Rose

Sunglasses are the ultimate summer accessory and can be the perfect finish to a perfect outfit. Make the right choice and be the Cara Delevingne of the day or go straight to wrong town as though you stepped straight out of the matrix. Here are a few of my favourite current and coming trends so you can turn heads for all the right reasons.

Trends:
- Tinted glasses with let you view the world as though you are wearing an Instagram filter. So whether you want to see through rose coloured glasses or see sepia shades like brannan, this trend will make you and your surroundings look amazing. After all, Instagram makes everything beautiful

- The industrial look is one of the bolder choices for 2014, and a personal favourite of mine. This look has sharp lines, thick metal and visible screws. Not for the faint hearted, but this look will definitely set you apart from the more girlie trends.

- By the looks of it the cat eye glasses are here for another season. Think Audrey Hepburn in breakfast at Tiffany's or Kourtney Kardashian in Bora Bora. These shades will exude class and sophistication.

- Mirrored glasses are the perfect party accessory. Not only will the reflective shades make you look fashion forward but it doubles as a mirror to keep your make up in check. I do warn you, be prepare for your vain friends to constantly check themselves out.

Check out some of our favourite sunglasses below.

Getting Dirty with Frank

Me getting naked and dirty with Frank

I’m pretty obsessed with scrubs. I have used many different types of scrubs, the ones from the shops to homemade scrubs. It is important to exfoliate our skin to get rid of dead skin cells. Since my skin is quiet sensitive I prefer, actually I mean I have to use products with more natural ingredients. My allergic reaction on my skin is not a pretty look.  Frank’s products are made from natural ingredients. So I was pretty excited to try Frank coffee scrub. I first hear of Frank bod scrubs on Instagram and after reading some reviews on the product I decided to try some.

Frank – Coconut and Grape seed

Frank’s scrubs got a whole lot better when they put out the coconut and grape seed coffee scrub which is limited edition. OMG I loved the smell, it was a mixture of coffee and sweet coconut. The texture is kind of like moist coffee grains. I followed the simple steps of damping my skin in the shower, circulating the scrub on body and boy is the stuff messy but fun to use. I left the scrub on my skin for 5-10 minutes as it says on the pack.
Frank Scrub- Pack of Goodness

Frank- Coconut & Grapeseed

Verdict- LOVED IT !! My skin felt soft and smooth straight away. Who doesn’t like soft baby skin? It didn’t leave any oily residue, which some scrubs I have used do. This stuff is pretty amazing and worth a try. I will be definitely using more.

2014 New Year's Resolution

I achieved exactly zero on my 2013 “New Year’s Resolutions” list. I was too busy, too ambitious, too pre-occupied, if you ask me, there are just too many excuses. So this year, in the attempt of creating some accountability, I am posting my 2014 list for the world (wide web) to see:

1.      Eat healthier/exercise more – My NY resolutions always have some liking to eating healthy and exercising. Although I have every intention of living a “healthy” lifestyle, this resolution is to serve my vanity – to have a banging bod.

2.      Save and pay off debts

3.      Start a company

4.      Take more photos – Somewhere along the way (between the ages 21-22) I stopped taking as many photos, so I am committing to buying a fancy camera and taking at least one photo a day.

5.      Donate blood

6.      Do a good deed a day

7.      Be decisive – I am one of those annoying fence sitters, “I don’t mind”, wishy washy people. In 2014 I’m hoping off the fence and choosing a side

So there is my 2014 resolution list, a good mix of fun and responsible. I’m sure you’ll read of my failures and triumphs throughout our blog. What’s on your list?

Love
